NVUSD Announces New Parent Education Series

 Emma Seppälä, Author of The Happiness Track to visit on September 20

 

Renowned speaker, Emma Seppälä, Ph.D., the author of The Happiness Track, is virtually visiting NVUSD on Monday, September 20 at 5:30 pm. Seppälä, in conversation with Superintendent Dr. Rosanna Mucetti, will discuss the science behind resilience, willpower, compassion, positive stress, creativity, and mindfulness. Seppälä is a lecturer at the Yale School of Management,  Faculty Director of the Yale School of Management’s Women’s Leadership Program, and the Science Director of Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education.
